Goulash potjie with roasted peppers

You need
• 2 red chillies (or to taste)
• 3 sweet peppers, different colours
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 200 g streaky bacon, chopped
• 1 kg beef chuck, in 3 cm cubes
• ¼ cup flour
• 1 big onion, chopped
• 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
• 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
• 1 tablespoon paprika
• salt and pepper, to taste • 1 tin (410 g) chopped tomatoes
• 1 tablespoon tomato paste
• 1 cup beef stock
• 1 or 2 bay leaves
• 1 strip of lemon zest
• 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
