So much has been written in recent months about Colin Burnham’s Air-Cooled Volkswagens book that we’re considering putting an embargo on its mention for a few months!

So, given the heavy Hebmüller content in this issue, for this month’s Old gold I thought I’d look back at something completely different. It’s another book, admittedly, and it dates to a similar time period (1988 this time) and it’s written
