Materials: Lana Grossa, Allora.
Content: 76 % cotton, 14 % superfine merino wool, 10 % baby alpaca. 50 g = 300 m.
6 (7) 8 balls – col 2 yellow-green.
Knitting needles: Size 3½ and 4½ mm
Crochet hook: Size 4 mm
Tension: 23 sts and 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm in chart patt on size 4½ mm needles.
When only one figure is given, it applies to all sizes.
Selvage stitches: On every row: Sl first st kwise, k last st.
Chart patt: Numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows, numbers at left edge of chart indicate WS rows. Work to patt rep, work 4 sts between arrows for patt rep, work to end of chart.
Work rows 1 – 4 once, then rep rows 3 and 4.
Full-fashion decrease: At beg of RS row, selvage st, skp (slip 1, knit 1, pass slip stitch over) or p2tog as needed for patt; at end of RS row, work to last 3 sts, k2tog or p2tog as needed for patt, selvage st.
Full-fashion increase: On RS row: M1 (lift strand between sts from the back and knit/purl this strand through front loop), 1 st in from edge.
BACK
Cast on 131 (139) 151 sts using 3½mm needles.
Work chart for 4 rows.
Change to size 4½mm needles.
Cont to foll chart and shape sides as foll: Working full-fashion dec, dec 1 st at each end of 11th row from cast-on, then every 12th row 11 times, then every 10th row 5 times. [97 (105) 117 sts]
Cont to foll chart until a total of 198 rows has been worked and piece meas 55 cm from cast-on.
Shape armholes: Cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 1 st at beg of next 8 rows. [83 (91) 103 sts]
Cont to foll chart until 68 (72) 76 rows have been worked from beg of armhole shaping and armhole meas 19 (20) 21 cm.
Shape shoulders and neck:
At each shoulder edge bind off 4 (5) 7 sts 1 time, then 4 sts 3 times and 3 sts 2 times (then 5 sts 1 time and 4 sts 4 times) then 5 sts 5 times.
At same time, on 3rd RS shoulder bind-off row, shape neck as foll: cast off centre 23 sts.
Working each side separately, cast off 5 sts at each neck edge 1 time, 3 sts 1 time.
No sts rem.
LEFT FRONT
Cast on 131 (135) 139 sts using 3½mm needles.
Work chart for 4 rows.
Change to size 4½mm needles.
Cont to foll chart and shape side as foll: Working full-fashion dec, dec 1 st at beg of 3rd row from cast-on, then every 4th row 9 times and then every alt row 54 times.

Shape armhole:
At beg of RS rows, bind off 8 sts 1 time, 5 sts 1 time, 4 sts 1 time, 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time.
Working full-fashion dec, dec 1 st at beg of next 20 RS rows.

Cont to foll chart until 58 (62) 66 rows have been worked from beg of armhole shaping and armhole meas 16 (17) 18 cm.

RIGHT FRONT
Work same as left front, reversing all shaping.
SLEEVES
Cast on 47 (51) 55 sts using 3½mm needles
Work chart for 4 rows.
Change to size 4½mm needles.
Cont to foll chart and shape sleeve as foll: Working full-fashion inc, inc 1 st at each end of 11th row from cast-on, then every 12th row 7 times, then every 10th row 6 times. [75 (79) 83 sts]
Work increased sts into patt.
Cont to foll chart until a total of 162 rows has been worked and piece meas 45 cm from cast-on.
Shape sleeve cap:
Cast off 4 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 2 sts at beg of next 4 rows, 1 st at beg of next 12 rows, [work 2 rows even, cast off 1 st at beg of next 2 rows] 6 times, then cast off 1 st at beg of next 10 rows, 2 sts at beg of next 4 rows, 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows.
Cast off rem 11 (15) 19 sts.
FINISHNG
Pin pieces to measurements and block. Sew shoulder seams. With size 4 mm crochet hook, sl st along back neck edge. Sew in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
