Feeders for flexibility

USING feeders is probably the most underused technique in the birdroom. Let’s explore further. Feeders are pairs that are put together in order to take eggs and chicks from your better pairs, freeing the better birds up to breed more and (hopefully) high-quality chicks. The moving of chicks to these nests is known as fostering.

I like using fosters, but these days I don’t pair special pairs just to take eggs and chicks. What I do is
