SPARTACIST UPRISING
Marxist leaders Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg, founders of the Spartacus League, oversee an uprising against the government. However, the revolution is unorganised and the widespread support for communism on which it relied proves non-existent. Luxemburg and Liebknecht are killed.
