Early opening for Barking extension

CLASS 710 EMUs will soon be carrying passengers on the new line to Barking Riverside after TfL brought forward the opening from autumn to summer. A precise date had not been specified asRail Express went to press. The existing London Overground service from Gospel Oak-Barking will be extended over the new 2.8-mile link, with frequencies of up to four trains per hour.
