Visitors to Windsor Castle this summer will be able to see a special exhibition marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and celebrating one of the most momentous occasions in her reign – the coronation, which took place on 2 June 1953.
The exhibition is situated in the magnificent setting of St George’s Hall and the adjacent Lantern Lobby in the State Apartments at Windsor Castle.
The coronation was such a historic event I think many of us are able to recall a snapshot of it in our mind’s eye, even if we were not around at the time.
