HER stalk-slim figure hasn’t changed for decades and it’s safe to say no fatty foods ever pass her glossy lips. What, you might’ve wondered, does she ever do when she’s feeling the need to indulge? Well, wonder no more: a single slice of wholegrain toast sprinkled with salt.

“It’s that carbohydrate that makes you feel comforted,” she says. “And I love salt.”

It’s enough to make you weep as you reach for that chocolate biscuit.
