‘Me and my dad are still the punctual ones’

I grew up in the 1970s and, like most people, there aren’t loads and loads of photographs of us, and the ones there are tend to be from formal occasions, such as birthdays or Christmas or our official school photos. I think that’s why I love this one so much; it’s a proper casual shot, like the ones we take these days. I probably take more pictures of my children in a month than my parents took of us our whole lives.
