Quilters Companion

Good Tidings

This magnificent quilt was found lurking in the archives in a Homespun issue from more than 10 years ago. The colours and the blocks are intrinsically traditional, offering a timeless quilt design that’s just as relevant today as it was back then. The first border has been cleverly designed as a pieced first border where there would usually be just setting triangles. The randomly placed green units add real pizzazz to the quilt centre and the muted complementary tones make this a pleasing design that’s far too attractive to keep just for Christmas display.

Finished size: 202cm x 178cm (70¼in x 79½in)
