“THIS time last year he had laminitis and three foot abscesses, and no one knew if he would recover,” said Gracie Catling of Qwinton, who scored outright wins at novice and elementary. The 14-year-old Quaterback gelding, whose scores never dropped below 73%, also secured second and third places at the levels.

“He’s coming along well,” added Gracie, who started riding Qwinton for Anke Hoeffler in January after the horse had spent time out on loan in Germany.
