in the qualifying session for the German GP at the Sachsenring, Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) qualified in first place, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) qualified second and Johann Zarco completed the front row after qualifying in third place on his Pramac Ducati GP22.

As the lights went out, Quartararo was late on the brakes going into the first corner, and snatched the lead from “Pecco” Bagnaia. Aleix Espargaro on the Aprilia RS-GP took third, ahead of Zarco, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing), and Jack Miller (Ducati Lenovo Team).
