JOHN MITCHELL REBOOTS LONELY ROBOT

John Mitchell will release the fifth album under his Lonely Robot banner later this year. Available from August 26 via InsideOut, A Model Life follows Feelings Are Good, released in July 2020, and sees the artist continue his trajectory away from the ‘astronaut’ concept with which he first launched the project, back in 2015.

The It Bites/Frost* star reveals to that ’s relatively muted] felt like it didn’t really happen – it was here, and then gone. You put your heart and soul into these things and you want them to have the best chance possible, but it’s a case of trying to keep the momentum going. I’m very fond of that album still, but it did feel a bit like the proverbial damp squib.”
