I’ve often wondered what on earth it is about BSA M20 and M21 sidevalve singles that makes people muck about with them. I suppose it might have something to do with the number of ex-WD M20s and M21s you could buy for a handful of groats and florins in the 1970s from the pages of Exchange & Mart and the classified ads in Motorcycle, Scooter and Three Wheel Mechanics.
