Kiwi nurse’s bittersweet romance ‘I FELL IN LOVE WITH MY SON’S FATHER’

It’s been the year from hell for Beka Maree Mills after her former fiancée took her own life, leaving the grieving Bay of Plenty nurse to raise their young son Nehemaia alone, fearing the baby would be taken from her.

But it’s also brought the most joyous of surprises. Instead of losing him, Beka Maree, 27, fell in love with her son’s biological father Kaneri Warren and now, as well as raising Nehemaia together, they’re also excitedly expecting another baby!

It’s a complicated story of heartbreak and trauma, but also one of great love and hope for the future.
