I KNOW CORNWALL PRETTY WELL, HAVING FIRST experienced it in back in 1987 when my Morini 350 was stolen by two lads from Camborne who used it to get home from Bristol and I had to go and pick it up from the police station. I spent a week hooning round the county and I’ve loved it ever since.
Yet, to be honest, the signs for the Land’s End trip weren’t good. My obsessive checking of the weather forecast showed that things were not too promising. Still, it was a good ride to Barnstaple, using the old North Devon route through Wiveliscombe.
