PART ONE

In the summer of 2016 Douglas Corporation made the decision to dispose of six out-of-service original horse-drawn trams, all in need of serious repairs. In the past many of these were either scrapped or left to rot away in a field or somebody’s garden.

My youngest son Scott and I made the decision to save one tram from disappearing for good, so off we went to the auction and made a successful bid
