We want something like We’ll get a girl, a blonde, and we’ll find a guy who looks good in a tux. That’s the show you’re gonna do. We don’t care what you do with it, creator Glenn Gordon Caron, is the order that came down from ABC executives for the last of his three, so far unsuccessful, pilot pitches. While the idea of doing another boy-girl detective show held no interest to the former co-producer, something the network said did catch his attention: “All I heard was, ‘We don’t care what you do with it.’”
