SCROLLED STEEL AND OTHER GARDEN SCULPTURES

English is full of short pithy phrases that speak eloquently to the human condition. It was one such phrase that was the stimulus for this project — ‘Happy wife, happy life!’

Now and then during one’s long-term relationships, conversations will begin with “I really like …”, and as every Sheddie knows instinctively, the best thing to do is to put any other plans on hold and turn your mind, as diligently as possible, to whatever it is your partner likes. Hence scrolled steel works have found their way into our home and garden.
