Fix a BROKEN keyboard

There are more moving parts in a keyboard than in any other piece of hardware in or connected to your PC. Some of these can be prodded and flexed thousands of times a day, so it’s no wonder that, eventually, they’re prone to fail. Letters can rub off keycaps (see box opposite to find out what we mean by this term), the keycaps can get loose and – if you’re very unfortunate – they can detach from the underlying mechanism entirely.
