THE FACT THE 2022 MUDGEE CLASSIC WENT AHEAD COULD BE considered a minor miracle. Despite the amount of rain across the region, the many flooded causeways along the route and last-minute course changes, on Sunday May 1 around 2,000 riders were met with a rare sight for 2022—perfectly clear skies and brilliant cycling conditions.
