Walking into the doctor’s office, I took a seat next to my daughter.
Anxiously waiting for what they had to say, it was the worst moment of my life.
At just 18, my daughter Kerrie Ann wanted to know whether or not she was gene positive for Huntington’s disease.
Her dad Ray, who I’d split with, had the gene and as she was getting married, she wanted know whether or not she was a carrier.
‘Your test results show you are positive,’ the doctor told her.
