Wheels of love

Sipping on a cold pint, I saw a blonde woman across the room.

We caught each other’s attention and looking at her she was just beautiful.

Approaching her, she introduced herself straight away.

‘I’m Kerry,’ she smiled.

Working as a scaffolder, my job meant that I had to travel over the country.

In August 2020, I had headed to a small pub in Scotland after work.

I didn’t know the area and never really intended to stay for very long at all.

But the next thing you know, me and Kerry were sat together, joking, and laughing.

Tongue-tied and deep in conversation, we got on like a house on fire.

We had great banter.

All of her jokes would be at my expense though!
