Popping a cold and flu tablet and taking a gulp of water, I wiped my nose before heading into my baby girl Winnie’s bedroom.
‘Hello, sweetheart,’ I cooed, as she looked up at me dozily. ‘Did you sleep well?
Me, Winnie and my husband Luke, 38, had all come down with a horrid cold as we’d come out of lockdown.
We were battling through, but I really hated seeing Winnie so miserable.
At 11 months old, she was normally such a happy, bubbly little thing.
