caramilk dumplings
Drenched in a rich caramel sauce and topped with double cream, this is a quick way – ready in only 25 mins – to warm up the sweet tooths at your place! serves 4 | prep 10 mins | cooking 15 mins Q
150g (1 cup) self-raising flour
2 tbs custard powder
50g butter, chilled, chopped
100g (½ cup) Cadbury Caramilk
Baking Chips
70g (⅓ cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
80ml (⅓ cup) milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Double cream, to serve
caramel sauce
200g (1 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
60g butter, chopped
560ml (2¼ cups) cold water
60ml (¼ cup) bought caramel topping
1 Sift the flour and custard powder into a bowl. Use your fingertips to rub the butter into the flour mixture until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add the baking chips and sugar. Stir until well combined then make a well in the centre.
