Vivid Audio Kaya 25

Now that we’re up into some solid money, we’ve arrived in an arena where speakers become even more of an art form. Of which Vivid Audio presents a good example here – although the company’s designers would be quick to tell you that this is not a case of aesthetic design first. Rather the arty curves are dictacted by their following acoustic principles to their logical end, and then finding the materials which can achieve those ends.

Equipment

There are three floorstanders in Vivid’s Kaya range, and we have spent time with two of them – the biggest Kaya 90, and the slimmest Kaya 25 featured here. The numbers relate to their volume – a 25-litre cabinet in this case –
