1 NSW MID NORTH COAST: All good for the table

The end of dirty flood waters delivered a tablefish bonanza! Most of the inshore reefs had snapper, Venus tuskfish, pearl perch, and trevally on offer via baits and jigs. The flathead fishing was also very good on the soft seabed, and some pelagic action was on offer too. From Hawke’s Nest in the south to Wooli in the north, anglers are getting good boxes of quality fish.

Going forward, it is only getting to be better. The snapper will be more prevalent, and the cod, pearlies, and tuskies are our predominant late
