Sir Robin’s missing compass mystery solved

A compass stolen from Sir Robin Knox-Johnston’s boat shortly after he returned from his record-setting global circumnavigation in 1969 has been handed in to a museum.
The 32ft Bermudan ketch was on display in Rochdale when the vessel compass, binnacle and mounting went missing.
