A PLANNING application for the reinstatement of the Ardingly branch, restoring the Bluebell Railway’s south main line connection, is set to be lodged later this year.
The electrified branch that linked Horsted Keynes to Haywards Heath was closed by BR on October 28, 1963, after which the heritage line could run services into Horsted Keynes station.
