Long to reign over us

E 125th-anniversary () and Platinum T Jubilee issues () were a delightful reminder of the timeless and enduring appeal of your magazine. Like many of your readers, my late mother kept her favourite copies, including the Coronation number from June 1953 (). With eloquent and entertaining features, it is as readable now as it must have been then. Both Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and COUNTRY LIFE have stood the test of time magnificently.
