Hooked on Fishing
The infamous Lahaina Harbor … it steals hearts and turns day-old friends into family for life. A place for everyone to experience next-level adventure, whether it be sport fishing, surfing with friends or getting the burger of the month at Cool Cats. I was lucky enough to experience all the best parts of Lahaina when I came over for the first annual Spring Wahine Fishing Tournament on April 30. It was a weekend I will never forget and will always cherish, as it was also my first tournament win. After this weekend, I am officially hooked on fishing and proud to be a fishing wahine!
A few days before I arrived, I got a call from Captain Chris Cole of asking if I wanted to do the tournament, and it couldn’t have been better timing! I had and before I knew it, I was on a flight to Maui!
