BANISH BRAIN FOG

CALL it brain fog, mental fatigue or what’s known as “sometimer’s disease” (sometimes you remember, sometimes you don’t). Whatever the label, it seems to increase with age – blanking on a familiar name, being tormented by that elusive word or even forgetting where you parked the car.

It’s not necessarily a sign of early dementia, says Dr Gary Small, director of the UCLA Longevity Centre in the US. But it does mean you need to sharpen your mind, says Small, who’s also the author of The Memory Bible and The Alzheimer’s Prevention Program.
