Prawn cocktail blinis with Bloody Mary shots
The perfect prepare-ahead starter to a great garden party.
Serves 8 • Ready in 10 mins
For the prawn cocktail blinis
1 Mix 100g mayonnaise, 2tbsp tomato ketchup, 2tsp creamed horseradish and the juice of ½ lemon. Stir in 250g cooked prawns and 1 shredded little gem lettuce, and chill until ready to serve.
2 To assemble, arrange 16 cocktail blinis on a serving platter. Spoon some prawn cocktail on top of each blini, and add a little fresh dill and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Per blini: 157 cals, 10g fat, 1g sat fat, 10g carbs
For the Bloody Mary shots
1 Fill a jug with ice and stir in 200ml vodka, 50ml cream sherry and 1ltr tomato juice. Season with lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and celery salt.
Stir well, strain into 8 small glasses, grind
