WHO Sian Rubelli WHERE KwaZulu-Natal BUSINESS Shelby Finds HER WORK After travelling the world as a flight attendant for 14 years, Sian Rubelli returned to SA in 2020 to start Shelby Finds and fulfil her dream of introducing unusual handmade treasures to local homes. All the home furnishings are ethically sourced, artisan made and crafted from natural materials.
Shelby Finds’ textiles are all from Jaipur, India. The Tiger Kantha quilt () made from 100% Indian Cotton (230 x 270cm; R1 950) is block-printed and stitched by hand. The rugs are hand-tufted with Indian wool and have a cotton backing.
