Princess Charlene ‘I’m fragile … but I’m home’

Since she returned to the Principality of Monaco in March, mystery and intrigue have surrounded Princess Charlene’s year-long hiatus away from her adopted home.

But on May 24, at the Monte Carlo Fashion Awards, the 44-year-old Zimbabwean-born royal gave fans an unexpected update on her health. “When I returned to the Principality, I focused all my, with her seven-year-old daughter Princess Gabriella by her side. She added: “My state of health is still fragile and I don’t want to go too fast. The road has been long, difficult and so painful. Today I feel calmer.”
