Examining his patient, Dr Joshua Llinas aka ‘Dr Josh’ saw what the problem was immediately. Severely anaemic and with internal bleeding, she had only hours, if not minutes, left to live. The pressure was on.
Racing her trolley to surgery, she needed two blood transfusions while Dr Josh worked to stop the bleed. It was touch and go but because of Dr Josh, she survived.
