    HUMBLE PI-E

    Just over a year ago you kindly published one of my letters [Electric Dreams, April 2021], some rant or other about e-bikes. Well! It’s not hard to admit that I was so wrong. My hand has been forced somewhat, as the Cube Stereo my pal ordered in September 2020, arrived just as the letter was published, and a new member of our little group also came with a Cube Stereo. New to mountain biking and quite unfit, we forgave him.

    Riding the same local trails, the e-bike riders seemed to be having a lot more fun, and later that year we had another convert and a new addition to the gang, my younger brother who’s not been on a bike for 30 years.
