Shades Of Grey

Aside from pure talent, musical success also depends on luck and timing. For Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie, that sliding doors moment occurred in Glasgow airport following the culmination of Dream Theater’s 2020 tour. Wandering through the terminal prior to his flight home to Toronto, he fortuitously encountered Paul Logue, of melodic metallers Eden’s Curse, with whom he’d worked with some nine years earlier. Sharing a coffee and with the world on the brink of lockdown, the pair agreed to consider a potential project and, within four weeks, were exchanging ideas.
