    Six years after he scored his first win in F1, Max Verstappen claimed the 24th victory of his career in Spain lastHe needed to keep a cool head on a day when temperatures in Barcelona exceeded a scorching 37 degrees. The relentless Catalan heat caused the track to reach nearly 50 degrees and that necessitated multiple pitstops as drivers nursed their tyres, brakes and engines throughout punishing 66 laps.
