NEW PLANTS FOR OLD

If you are new to gardening, propagation is the creation of new plants from seeds, cuttings, bulbs, and other parts of the herb. The three main methods are seeds, cuttings and division (root or stem). My favourite way is propagating herbs in water … it is quick, clean and you can see what is happening. This is particularly good if you want to encourage children to join in.
