HOLSTERS are not usually the first thing on your mind when you start looking for a defence handgun. However, choosing the right holster is an important decision as the wrong holster will probably result in your handgun ending up in your safe instead of on your person.
Holsters are designed to serve a single purpose, so, one earmarked for sport shooting will not necessarily work for everyday concealed carry. Also, your choice of holster should fit your lifestyle and environment.
Concealment is the primary consideration when carrying a handgun every day for self-defence. The law does not allow open carry so, a good concealment holster is a must. Carrying concealed also makes you less of a target and will hopefully give you the element of surprise in a life and death situation.
