why I love an old fix-me-up

I love renovating, creating a fresh and better space from a tired and lacking room. What’s more, I love appreciating that transformation and living in a newly formed space. However, the finished product is not what makes a renovation successful – it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. It’s about how the space transforms from the old into the new, and learning how a space functions, what it lacks and what can be improved. It’s also about what works in an older space, why it was designed that way, and what you can learn from that. Here’s a snippet of the past two years and our behemoth of a renovation, with our just-finished boys’ bathroom.
