The energy crisis, veganism and the future of planet Earth

With an overload of information banging on consumers doors about the energy crisis and climate change, and with so much of that information coming to us with an established bias already in play, I reached out to the man at the heart of the green energy revolution, Dale Vince, founder of Ecotricity, shortly after he announced he was looking for a new owner for the company he started. I wanted to cut through the mire and get the clean facts about what we are really facing as custodians of this beautiful planet. I wondered what had come first for Dale, veganism or green energy?

“Veganism.” The answer is instant. “I became vegetarian at the age of 18 from the day I left home and started feeding myself. As I learned more about the industries behind dairy and eggs it was a natural progression to become vegan.
