Star Wars creator George Lucas has seemingly etched those characters in our pop culture psyche with a lightsaber, and they’ve steadily stood the test of time, so much so that the franchise possesses a cult-like following of fans who remain passionate about a galaxy far, far away.
Forty-five years after the theatrical release of the franchise’s first film, Star Wars: A New Hope, collectibles based on the groundbreaking galactic soap opera are as hot as ever.
Comic-Con International isn’t the only show where Star Wars fans flock to find collectibles of their favorite characters, antique shows large and small around the country feature booths and booths of in-demand Star Wars items.
Everybody’s Rummage Sale in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, held mid-April at the brand-new Resch Expo — which overlooks historic Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers — is a perfect example of a smaller show with large interest
