Actress Glenn Close declared she was “comfortably out of my comfort zone” before she swirled up the red carpet in a profusion of hot-pink Valentino at the Met Gala. The fiery fuchsia shade certainly put the star at ease for her appearance, the actress confessing beforehand she’d always found the event intimidating. “I’m basically very shy,” she said.
