Greatest Of All Targets
With an estimated population of 2.3 million spread across large portions of Australia and no seasonal hunting restrictions, the humble feral goat provides year-round opportunities to hunters. Treated correctly, meat from nannies and young billies is superb in a wide range of dishes, but never better than in a good curry. Goat skins come in a wide variety of colours and patterns that make great floor mats or covers on the lounge. A set of 40-inch plus horns on a nice mount also looks good on the wall.
SO, there are a good many reasons, as well as opportunities, to get out and hunt these animals with the rifle and, if you really want some great sport, with the bow.
