YOU CRUSH IT in the weight room or on the track, and you know better than to go back out and do the same thing again the next day. You’ve got to offset those high-octane workouts with “rest” days of low-intensity activity to help pummeled muscles bounce back more quickly than they would if you just recovered on the couch.
