It can be easy to forget Team Parker Racing’s 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Rookie Champion, Kiern Jewiss, is just nineteen years old. After claiming multiple karting titles and bagging almost two hundred trophies along the way, the Kent-based youngster quickly impressed when he moved into cars, becoming Rookie title winner in the 2017 Ginetta Junior Championship, before claiming the British F4 Championship title with a record 445 points a year later.
He was then finalist in the BRDC McLaren (now Aston Martin) Autosport Award, before moving to what we now know as GB3 (formerly BRDC British Formula 3), the UK’s leading single-seater championship. He ended his maiden season with seven podiums and one win in the final ten races. Things didn’t quite work out for the teenager the following season, however, which is why he decided to leave single seaters and look for a new challenge.
