GLOBAL JOURNAL MARKET

US biannual Consequences publishes writing which ‘addresses the human consequences and realities of war and geopolitical violence through literature and art’. It’s a painful read at times. The team hope that readers become ‘aware of the human consequences of war and geopolitical violence, so that careful and inclusive consideration can be given to the use of violence to resolve conflict.’

They welcome visual journal, or the website. Submissions all ‘need to address in some manner the human consequences and realities of war or geopolitical violence.’ Work could focus, for example, on ‘the experiences of combatants… victims and/or witnesses’. All work must be literary in style and should inspire reflection, give insights, perhaps even provoke anger or joy.
