aunched to the press in September 1962, many British farmers' first sight of a Multi-Power-equipped tractor came at the Smithfield Show that December, when the system was offered on both the Massey Ferguson 65 and 35 models. It was available as a factory-installed unit, and couldn’t be retro-fitted to existing tractors.
In 1962, some Massey Ferguson 35s were fitted with Multi-Power before it was offered on the 35X. However, it was a Multi-Power-equipped MF 65 Mk. II that was initially shown to the press in early September.
